12 oz. bottle with Woodman’s generic label but with "Popcorn Lager, brewed with popcorn and butter" printed on neck ring . Color is the palest straw yellow I’ve ever seen and slightly hazy, with a small white head and no lacing. Aroma is that of smoked shrimp, with a bit of lemon and floral hops, but no popcorn or butter. Taste is slightly bitter, with thin body and very lively carbonation. Easily drinkable, and much better than macro-lagers. The smoked shrimp flavor was a present surprise in this random grab from a huge grocery store’s M&M 6-pack shelves. If it’s around Madison the next time I pass through, I’ll try this novelty lager again. Easily drinkable, obscure, and bizzarre.
