Bottle at mother in laws boxing day party. Amber beer with medium head. Aroma of malts and caramel. Taste is malts, caramel and hop bitterness. Decent. StueyD (1582) - Heacham, Norfolk, ENGLAND - APR 2, 2014
A mid copper orange coloured beer with a weak white head. A light dusty malt aroma and a hint of lemony hop. Dry mouthfeel. A dry, musty malt taste, biscuity, and a little bit sweet and buttery, but in a good way. There is a mild tangy hop flavour afterwards, that just adds an edge to the whole flavour. The finish is a touch dry. s_hartshorne (2767) - wakefield, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 31, 2014

Copper colour with a thin lace which quickly dissapates. Fruity aroma with honey. Caramel and honey malt flavour with a syrup texture. DruncanVeasey (8225) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAY 19, 2012
From Nuneaton Asda- just sacked a basketful of Woods, Hobsons...biggest haul for a long time from an English supermarket. Brass-bronze with a steady white foam. Slightly bilious (sickbowl), wood, light leafy hop and dried fruit aroma. Fine, lightly buttered flavour with good, leathery dried grape and fig notes; some pear and cherry stone; an oak-like creaminess. Solid. Bottle even survived being droppped from chest height onto a tiled kitchen floor: bonus point.
