Gethinbeer (2452) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - AUG 22, 2011
Copper colour with a frothy white head and lace. Aroma of light malt. Hint of hop. Enjoyable beer. chriso (7536) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 5, 2004
Pale amber colour - almost the same as the Youngs Bitter that one of my companions was drinking. Very hoppy and bitter throughout - no doubt enhanced by the dry hopping in cask. Quite austere bitter finish. An excellent drinking bitter, if short on subtlety and complexity. Handpump, The Speaker, November 2003. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAR 5, 2006
Cask Handpump at the Old Harkers Arms, Chester 10/03/2002 maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - JAN 11, 2011
Golden coloured with some pale malt aroma. Finishes smooth on the palate.
Cask Conditioned handpump Moon On The Square Northampton. An amber cooloured beer with a whitish head and lacing. Sweet spritzy berry fruitiness throughout. Light fruits. An interesting mouthfeel. Reasonably pleasant but signs of heaviness. FatPhil (17166) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 6, 2011

6 Dusty aroma, killed by the sparkler head.
3+ Rich amber, sparkler head.
7 Some milky grains, very fruity hops - apple, peach and apricot. Lots of bitterness in the hops too.
4 Soft palate, carbonation low. Resiny persistent bitter finish, some pungency too.
14 Great simple bitter. Good one Woods!

Porter, London. Orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized fluffy head that settles into a small creamy one quite fast. Leaves some slight lace. Aroma is bready malts, some sweet malts and also a nice fruity and floral hoppyness to it. Flavour is citrusy, mildly nectary and also has some grassy bitterness as well as a nice malty body to it. Well balanced and refreshing.
Cask conditioned @ Guide Dog, Soton. Tasty quaffing bitter. Fruity malts and citric hops. Light and tangy with dry malt body. DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 13, 2007
Aroma is fruity, peachy with some citrus and a touch of grassy hops. Taste is sweet though quite warm the bittering grassy hops come through. worldbeertaste (1818) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2011
Woodlands Beer Festival 2011: Cask - Medium Amber colour with a soapy white head. Light fruity smell. Medium body. Rich caramel, moderate hops and malt, Sweet woody with a light wheat aftertaste. Malt and hop finish. Drinkable but ok. cgarvieuk (26100) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 13, 2011
