Introducing our stunning new beer, we hope you’ll like her. She’s blonde, well flavoured and very tasty! Combining fine English pale malts together with Fuggles and Cascade hops to create a tasty "bitter stuff!"

Bottle. Golden Straw in colour. Fruity; citrus and apple. Hoppy; floral and grassy hops. Malty; buttery caramel and honey. Mildly bitter citrus fruity on a sweet malty base throughout. Dry mildly bitter finish. Pleasant enough. Drinkable. (2009-08)

Bottle 50cl. Clear medium amber, one finger frothy white head, recedes after a while to a thin layer, good lacing; aroma malty, grain, toasted, bit of caramel, grass, citrus; taste moderate bittersweet, hint of caramel; light to medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; mild bittersweet finish, bit spicy. Nice.

Bottle received as a gift. Pours deep golden colour with small head. Nice bitter tang to it, but otherwise not huge on flavour

On cask at the Boathouse in Shrewsbury. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head and a slight haze. Nose - flowers and citrus. Taste - more citrus and a green vegetal note too. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - she is indeed a delectable blonde.

Cask, The King’s Head, Leicester. Golden with an off white foam. Aromas are grain with honey and lemon. Yeasty with hints of lime. Flavours are grain and biscuit with bitter, sharp lemon and some jammy fruit and green apple. Hints of caramel with peppery notes. It’s OK.

Cask in the Shrewsbury Hotel, Shrewsbury. A golden ale with a white head. Mild pineapple aroma. Quite sweet with a nice bit of caramel followed by a bitter pine finish. Nice, but could do with stronger flavours.
