Keg @ Vintage. Light amber pour with a small head. Earthy, mildly spicy hop aromatics. Peppered hedgerow, grass. A touch of wood and dirty tree bark. Flavor is surprisingly bitter. Peppery bitterness. Gentle biscuit. Light toastiness. Medium body, soft carb.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a uncarbonated transparent light orange colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was malt hop. The mild citrus mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. The good flavor contained notes of mild citrus and hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

On tap at Vintage. Pours a clear orange brown with a medium white head. Aroma of piney hops, grapefruit, citrus, grassy hops, a touch of piney wood. Flavor of lots of wood, sweet citrus, grapefruit, sweet malt. Interesting beer- the wood certainly comes out, also lots of sweet fruity notes. It somewhat reminds me of Fred From the Wood with the combination of oak and fruits. A little sweet perhaps, heavy palate despite relatively low abv. 8/4/7/3/14 (3.6/5)

Dogbrick (13013) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 21, 2014
Sample at the brewpub. Hazy orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is oaky with hops and citrus notes. Medium body with a subtle oak character and flavors of citrusy hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with an oaky and grapefruity aftertaste. Decent overall.

3oz on tap at the brewpub. Mostly clear orange color, slightly hazy. Thin off-white kind of cream colored head. Leaves good, thicker lace. Great mix of oaky wood notes and grapefruit hop. Kind of reminds me of the cigar city humidor IPA. A lot of good grapefruit on it, plus wood. Some bigger caramel malt, too, though. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Light slick. Moderate sweet taste, moderate bitter. Solid complex wood IPA; it works.

Draft pour. Very mild hoppy citrus smell. Semi cloudy with small white head. Slight lemon taste at the beginning and turns slightly bitter on the backside. Overall smooth mid range ipa.

Ok IPA. Lite bittery hoppy taste. Decent amount oaky flavors come through. I don’t really get any fruit flavor.

Pint at the brewery Madison. Very nice ipa. Nice and crisp, and not overbearing like some can get. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not much aroma on this. Decent bitterness. Not hoppy. Fruity backbone. Wheat notes. Sort of boring but not bad by any means. This was poured from a keg at vintage brewing in Madison, WI.
