Deep amber pour with watery white head and lace. Cinnamon and old apple flat on the aroma. Apple cider, rock candy, cinnamon, with a slight bitter finish. Watery with decent carbonation. puboflyons (3498) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - SEP 12, 2009
From the 355 ml. bottle with an expiration date of Jan. 10. The pour is a handsome mahogany-ruby red with excellent clarity although limited head. Aroma of pumpkin spices and sweetness. The taste starts out spicy and malty and ends with a sharp does of bitter hops. Quite nice. thornecb (6062) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - SEP 2, 2009
Pours mahogany into a snifter. Head quickly disappears. Apple cider and cinnamon aromas. Sour grapes and bubblegum upfront. Turning to a baked sour apple and bitter finish. BroSpud (2247) - , Massachusetts, USA - MAY 25, 2009
Draft at brewpub. Multiple tastings. I have had everything they have to offer as we come here often for dinner while in the area. As with their food, the beer is OK but nothing spectacular. In fact, most of their beers are in my opinion, sub-par. This one was just OK.

Pours with three finger cream head that fades quickly leaving some lace. Crystal clear amber color. Very faint cinnamon nose. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Flavor is heavy with cinnamon and maybe some apple, hops are hidden. $1.75 for a 12oz bottle -part of mixed 6-pak- from Barb’s Beer Emporium Concord, NH. (Bottle). Strong aroma of spice and apples. Deep copper body, small white fizzy head. Tastes strongly of cinnamon and apples, with lots of carbonation. Malty finish. Quite refreshing and different. halfonit (1398) - Fall River, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 4, 2008
It pours a nice and dark brown color and has hints of cinnamon. There seems to be a lot of carbonation in this one, but it’s still tasty. A little bite in the end but I still enjoyed this one. It’s from Woodstock Inn so you know that there’s quality behind it. Good job. Cletus (6368) - Connecticut, USA - OCT 27, 2007
Fresh growler. Pours amber with a thin white head. Smells of apples, lots of pie spices, some underlying hints of pepper and tea. Tastes of sweet apples with a lot of spice. Very up front and cider like but with a nice malty finish and backbone. Very solid beer! JoeMcPhee (9553) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 17, 2007
Tap at the brewpub. hazy amber beer with a white head. Aroma is very spicy with strong cinnamon/cassia and allspice with a hint of ginger. There is also a strong fresh apple aroma. Sort of like a warm wassail (but cold... makes no sense, but that’s what it smells like). Flavour is sweet with lots of baked apple and warm spices. Smells and tastes like the holidays... very unique brew that is perfect for these cooler days.
