I friggin’ loved this beer. I can see snobs not being into it cuz it’s kinda fruity or spicy, but all I know is... I couldn’t stop drinking it. I couldn’t wait to come back the next day and get more. Usually beers with this sorta wacky flavoring (apple cinnamon) aren’t something you want more than 1 or 2 of, but this was awesome. mdindy (38) - Weymouth, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 17, 2014
huge fan of this beer, pours very dark amber with sweet aroma notable of cinnamon. flavor is very sweet with no hoppy bitterness noted, mild apple taste, heavy on spices and cinnamon. very well balanced sweet flavors great selection for fall to break away from all the pumpkin styles out there. highly recommended

Fresh growler. Pours amber with a thin white head. Smells of apples, lots of pie spices, some underlying hints of pepper and tea. Tastes of sweet apples with a lot of spice. Very up front and cider like but with a nice malty finish and backbone. Very solid beer! Volgon (2763) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - SEP 11, 2010
Bottle: Pours a clear orange with a thin white head, aroma has apples, all-spice, and cinnamon, starts and ends lightly sweet with apple notes, light bodied, watery mouthfeel, mild carbonation, a unique and great autumn beer. baraciisch (3236) - California, USA - NOV 6, 2011
A cross between a cider and a beer.... Lots of apple notes, cinnamon and spices... Delicious full flavor, really enjoyed this beer...

@ brewpub. Good nose, sweet and tart. apples/ cidery. Clear reddish orange color. Small to no head. Sweet bitter flavors. Cranberries, apples, carmel. Medium body, thinner mouthfeel, lite creaminess. Crisp finish. I really liked this one. Very tasty. JoeMcPhee (9427) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 17, 2007
Tap at the brewpub. hazy amber beer with a white head. Aroma is very spicy with strong cinnamon/cassia and allspice with a hint of ginger. There is also a strong fresh apple aroma. Sort of like a warm wassail (but cold... makes no sense, but that’s what it smells like). Flavour is sweet with lots of baked apple and warm spices. Smells and tastes like the holidays... very unique brew that is perfect for these cooler days. puboflyons (3433) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - SEP 12, 2009
From the 355 ml. bottle with an expiration date of Jan. 10. The pour is a handsome mahogany-ruby red with excellent clarity although limited head. Aroma of pumpkin spices and sweetness. The taste starts out spicy and malty and ends with a sharp does of bitter hops. Quite nice. stangger (619) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 6, 2010
UPDATED: SEP 6, 2011 Had this on tap at the Mountain View Grand. Aroma is great - gingerbread, cinnamon, allspice, Christmas cookies, nutmeg. Taste is a bit of a letdown. Kind of thin, very spicy - mostly ginger overload. Love that smell though.
