Appearance: Brown (duh!) and looks a little like cola. Very thin ring of foam.
Smell: At first nothing but as it warmed a whiff of bitterness, probably hops.
Taste: Subdued, malt-like taste with a very nice moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel: A strong point. Smooth with a rather low carbonation that i didn’t expect but wasn’t unpleasant. 17Beer (341) - Connecticut, USA - NOV 19, 2016
Malt and caramel notes. Pours a rich red brown with an off-white head with retention and strong lacing. Big clean malty flavors of bread and a lingering sour finish. Nice brown ale. ben4321 (6412) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUL 7, 2016
Bottle, camping, 7/2/2016. Decent aroma of nutty and earthy malts. Light hops. Weird fruitiness comes through on the flavor and the brown ale flavors fall off. Way over carbonated, which hurts drinkability a lot. One bottle was more than enough. thepatrickman (1307) - Durham, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 29, 2016
On draft and in bottles. This is a straightforward, no-frills, crowd-pleasing, middle-of-the-road, pretty boring Brown Ale. It’s brown, which shouldn’t really surprise anyone, and it’s sweet. It’s thin and there really isn’t any of that nutty, earthy, lightly roasted flavor that the best browns have. If this tastes like it was mainly made to fill the "slightly darker" sleeve of a brewery’s rotation, that’s because it probably was. kaser (6216) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 15, 2016
Brown pour from 12oz bottle from Christpuncher, who drain poured his. White head. Nutty, roasty and sweet aroma. Has a fruity taste to it, weird for a brown ale. A little tart and sweet too. Not horrible, not great.

Drain pour. Too sweet and carbonated. Has a raspberry flavor in there with some roasted grain flavors. Pours brown with a tan head. Had out of a bottle at home. Foxbush (2004) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - DEC 1, 2015
12 oz bottle from the AOPD monthly beers The brown ale poured a clear dark amber ale with an off-white head and lacing. The aroma was of toast and caramel malts with chocolate notes. The flavor has nutty notes and some bitterness with a sweet finish. The ale has a medium body with average carbonation. rjplumer (1075) - Foxboro, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 29, 2015
The aroma has a sweet caramel nut malt character. Head filled my whole glass at first so I had to have a lot patience waiting for it come down. Brown clear body with a hint of amber. Dry caramel nutty taste. Not a bad brew but wish I didn’t have to wait 10 minutes for the foam head to calm down. GIJOE (1196) - North Berwick, Maine, USA - MAY 31, 2015
On tap at the ACBF in Boston. Pours brown with a tan head. Nose is malt and caramel. Taste is sweet with a nice nutty character. Medium body. Lively carbonation. Good brew. Quick3Beers (1201) - East Falmouth, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 1, 2015
Nearly cloyingly sweet brown ale, syrupy, like a pecan pie made by someone who doesn’t know how to bake and forgot to add pecans but didn’t burn it or do a totally horrible job at it.
