@ brewpub. Ok nose, malty. Cocoa mainly. Clean orangy brown color. No head. Sweet, bitter flavors. Chocolate/cocoa, carmel, kinda nutty. Medium body, creamy smooth mouthfeel. Biter dry finish. Really like this one, though I didnt get the nose like some did.

Smells and looks great. Reminds me of newcastle somewhat, with a stronger start and weaker finish. Can definitely taste the nutty flavor - worth a try, but perhaps only once.

Sweet and fruity aroma. Clear brown with off-white head that recedes to cover. Toffee, caramel, lightly buttery diacetyl, malty sweet with nice fruity esters and decent balancing bitterness. Lasting sweetness on the tongue in the aftertaste. On tap at the Vermont Brewers Festival.

Fruity dark malt, butter-daubed, give off a pleasant nutty oil sweetness...A suave body in which hides a smoky earthiness and a few cherry bushes...Hop resin rises in the back but remain covered by the malt...A tasty quaffer but the many flavors don't come together to the forefront like I would like them to...
