Halfway between copper and amber with a one finger white head that is slow to dissipate ans quick to lace. Aroma has some up from malt sweetness complemented by citrus and grassy hop notes. Bready caramel malt follows. Flavor has a nice caramel malt profile, become sweeter in the middle and finish. Hop bitterness it citrus in its quality, lingering until the finish. Slight grainy notes are all but drowned out by the malty sweetness. Palate is smooth, but is cut into slightly by a kick of carbonation. Body is thin to medium, mouthfeel ends semi-dry and decently clean. A decent brew. kimcgolf (872) - Dacula, Georgia, USA - MAY 26, 2009
Poured from the bottle to a hazy orange red with thin skim of a tan head that lingered well and okay lacing. Nose is malty citrus fruit with a hint of roasted nuts. Mouthfeel is thin, with just a hint of a tingle. Taste starts out okay, by picking up the flavors of the nose, but quickly urns grainy and skunky. Finish is no better, as the sweet malty fruit is quickly overtaken by a dry, cottony taste. Unfortunately, the finish outweighs the nice start on this one, and I’ll avoid in the future. Draft at brewpub. Multiple tastings. I have had everything they have to offer as we come here often for dinner while in the area. As with their food, the beer is OK but nothing spectacular. In fact, most of their beers are in my opinion, sub-par. This is one of their better offerings. rocbyter (2186) - Waterbury, Connecticut, USA - JAN 22, 2009
Fruity malt aroma. Clear light amber color with a small whitish head. Mild beginning getting sweeter in the finish. sneagrams3 (2337) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JAN 22, 2009
Tasted 1/6/09. 12oz bottle. Filtered with a dark amber hue. Trace head. Trace nose of caramel and little else. Medium bodied and crisp. Slightly oxidized. Sweet finish and mildly cloying. Moderate astringency. Estery in the finish. Decent, but nothing truly special.

(12oz bottle) Small off-white head atop lightly hazed dark amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, some citrus. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, grapefruit, light toast, earthy. Light-medium body. drywallman (368) - Lake in the Hills, Illinois, USA - DEC 1, 2008
Amber color, nice thick head. Sweet "red" amber malt smell and taste. Just a bit of caramel. The hops meet up with it and last through the mid body finish. You could drink a few in one sitting without getting tired. agillespie81 (315) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 21, 2008
Amber color...pillowy head, though it fades a little fast. Aroma of sweet malt. Front begins with a caramel malt sweetness...somewhat of a crisp mouthfeel, though not overpowering. Sweet malt flavor gradually blends with a subtle hop bite in the back...finish has a slight citrus tang to it. Though very basic in nature, this beer is pretty well balanced. cAPSLOCK (156) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 2, 2008
Dark reddish orange, something very off in the aroma to me though other wise caramely. It is dryish but has a smokey malt element. Some of the small batch craft brew bandaid taste. Long hoppy finish. FROTHINGSLOSH (8291) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 24, 2008
This one came in my beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a red-amber color with a large orange-tan head. The aroma was light nut, caramel and fruit. The flavor was sour, tangy and nutty with a touch of fruit and some butter on the tangy finish. Eh.
