Good brew. Pour is a nice reddish coppery color. Malts dominate the flavor as well as the aroma. Flavor is quite complex, hinting at apples, grapes, toffee, caramel and vanilla with a bitter edge. Finish is sweet and left me wanting more. chicagobears (469) - Elk Grove Village, Illinois, USA - MAR 5, 2010
Bottle pours a amber with lacing white head. Fruity aroma with some caramel. Rich toasted flavors, nutty, caramel, and doughy. The flavors work well together with slight bitter ending. Good beer. dlovell2 (2089) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - AUG 22, 2015
Pours amber with off white head. Aroma is biscuit malt with fruitiness and floral hops. Flavor is dry biscuit malt with tart berries. Some mineral notes and citrus followes and a citrus, floral, and pine finish. Really enjoyed. DYCSoccer17 (3691) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 23, 2004
Draft at GIBF. Slightly roasty caramel nose. Malty. Amber mahogany color with a nice off white head. Nice. Sweet, tangy, malty beer with a nice mix of malts and hops. Not bad.
