Good brew. Pour is a nice reddish coppery color. Malts dominate the flavor as well as the aroma. Flavor is quite complex, hinting at apples, grapes, toffee, caramel and vanilla with a bitter edge. Finish is sweet and left me wanting more. chicagobears (477) - Elk Grove Village, Illinois, USA - MAR 5, 2010
Bottle pours a amber with lacing white head. Fruity aroma with some caramel. Rich toasted flavors, nutty, caramel, and doughy. The flavors work well together with slight bitter ending. Good beer.
