This oatmeal stout is a celebration of the body art of tattooing. Just as tattoos let people display their individuality and artistic abilities this beer lets our brewers explore theirs. The front of the bottle has one of our friend Jackies sweet tats on it to thank her for putting us up to this brew. A limited release with locally roasted coffee (Acoustic Java Main St. Worcester), cocoa nibs, and vanilla beans.

UPDATED: JUN 28, 2015 This is the best Breakfast Stout Ive tried. The aroma and flavor is packed with notes of coffee, chocolate and vanilla. Just the right level of creaminess paired with a liberal and very enjoyable sweetness.

Pours black into a snifter. Mocha head with excellent retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Dark chocolate, espresso and vanilla aromas. Sweet dark chocolate milk, vanilla and licorice front to back and into the lasting dark espresso finish.

Good heavy duty stout from the Worms. Dumped this into a Samuel Smiths pint glass and got a pretty good head which disappeared quickly. The stout is an opaque black with an aroma of coffee, dark chocolate and vanilla. The flavor follows the nose with a medium to heavy body and a lot of very dark chocolate prominent, with the vanilla on top. Creamy with a bite of bitterness in the finish. At 9% and with such a full flavor, one of these is plenty.

Taste is roasted malt, dark fruit, robust for a second but fades a little, coffee, chocolate, lactose. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy body, light carbonation, roasted malt and sweeter aftertaste. Overall, solid.

Pour is black with a good bit of khaki colored head and some large bubbles. Nose is slightly burnt malt, hint of vanilla, faint coffee note. Flavor is even more burnt than the nose, a touch of dry bakers chocolate, slight coffee and lingering coffee bitterness. Creamy feel, soft carb, medium body.

Sampled at Julios New England Craft Beer Fest. Probably the best thing Ive tasted from Wormtown so far. It is very sweet but the sweetness is balanced out by the coffee flavors which combine to make the whole thing work.
