Danish pint from a 500 ml bottle; from Keg Liquors. Aroma: Moderate caramel biscuit with lighter citrus pith, earthiness and pepper. Appearance: Transparent orange copper body with soft carbonation holding up a ring of white head. Flavor: Caramel biscuit and lighter citrus initially; more earthy/peppery qualities towards the finish, which is more quick than bitter. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Expectedly old school, but not boringly so - a nice change of pace in the world of unbalanced, fruit bomb IPAs. Fine enough, but not one I’d seek out again, especially for the price (around $5 locally). Cybercat (5893) - Georgia, USA - AUG 1, 2015
Pours clear amber with a thick but effervescent eggshell head. Aroma is crisp, fruity and malty, not much but still inviting. Wan flavor has apple and malty notes, not much there. Mouthfeel is a bit thin and lacks fizz. Well, had to give it a fair shake. JK (6200) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - APR 20, 2015
Bottle, but my bottle looked a little different than the photo here. It is a great looking beer, gold color, big, long lasting white foam on top. After that, there is not so much here. Some mild malt, but I didn’t pick up the wheat at all. Very light palate, not much flavor, actually reminded me of a kolsch. It is drinkable, nothing wrong with it, but perhaps past its prime, but not much here to enjoy. ordybill (1801) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - JAN 22, 2015
Poured from a 500ML bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma - Has a solid British brew aroma, earthy but not offending
Appearance- A clear somewhat pale yellow color with a giant white head.
Taste - Strong malt and yeast flavor, I found it very enjoyable.
Palate - Heavy carbonation with a light bodied beer made this an interesting feel. I liked it.
Overall - A good beer that I would drink again. jonathonsti (29) - - DEC 10, 2014
500ml bottle. Pours a clear amber/gold. Thin white head dissipates quickly. Weak hop aroma of berrires, floral. Light taste of same.

Pint bottle. Clear amber gold with a fizzy off white head. Carbonation is visible floating up. A little spice and a little fruit. Just a little bitterness, too. Malts are kind of doughy. There is just not a lot going on in this one. It is generally sweet and easy to drink. Dragonfly1 (500) - Colorado, USA - JUL 20, 2014
Pint, bottle. Cloudy copper orange, fizzy, floral, and bready on the nose. Rose petal, caramel, bread dough, chewy, some grass and mustyness. Bubbly yet a touch thin in the finish. Got more interesting and flavorful the further I got with it. Very drinkable. Liamrua (49) - Waterford, IRELAND - JUN 18, 2014
500ml bottle. Pours golden. 1 finger head dissappears, little lacing. Taste is soft, light with slight malty finish. Full mouth feel which expands in your mouth with big bubbles. The taste lingers. A nice light easy drinking beer. johndoughty (5472) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUN 14, 2014
Bottle. Golden with a small head. Slightly bitter with a medium body.Is this really a Burton Ale as its says on the bottle? I just thought it was pretty boring. Not in the same league as White Shield. ManVsBeer (10669) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2014
Bottle from B&M Bargains, Barrow-in-Furness. Golden with a thin head. Hoppy with a pleasant pale ale light citrus fruit aroma, texture and taste which is slightly dry. Fizzes somewhat in the palate.
