Draught at Portland Craft, Vancouvermcberko (18956) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 2, 2016
Hazy copper color. Very nice aroma, citrus, bergamot, Earl Grey. Good body strength, flavor based on dry caramel, with resiny hops, a bit of chicory bitterness in the final.
On tap at Portland Craft, pours a clear amber orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out a considerable punch of resinous hops, some wood, and biscuity malt - smells more like an IPA. Flavour follows accordingly, with lots of piney and resinous hops, followed by dry biscuity malt. Quite robust for a pale. Good stuff. troopie (2439) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - JAN 26, 2013
Coppery colour with thick white head. Lasting lacing. Aroma is naartjie with ’n bietjie malt. Hoppy flavour, almost like an IPA but not quite. Hop citrus and floral finish. This is a new beer by a new brewery
