Draft pour at the Wrecking Bar. Deep amber color with a one finger head. Powerful aroma of malts, toffee, caramel, and bread/dough. The taste was well balanced with heavy malts, bread, and caramel. Medium full body with serious flavors and a creamy finish.
Seriously malty, seriously nutty altbeer. This is to malt what the Hazy is not a Flavor is to hops. HippieFee (467) - - MAR 1, 2017
Draft - Partially cloudy red and brown color. Smells sweet, sorta like pecan. Has a very malty sweet flavor to match the smell. Tastes like pecan as well. jbruner (5122) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - NOV 14, 2016
Pours a clear golden brown with bubbly off-white head that leaves light lace. Aroma and taste of malty sweetness, earthy hop notes, hints of fruity yeast. It is well done for the style, but it’s a boring style, thus why nobody really does them. Aurelius (5496) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JAN 7, 2016
Clear, bronze-brown. Smallish ivory head. Figgy, sweet aroma. Sweet, figgy-fruity, malty, woody, lightly bitter. Medium body, finishes out with a nice bitterness. On tap, Wrecking Bar, Atlanta. chinchill (5226) - South Carolina, USA - OCT 18, 2015
On tap at the Decatur Beer Fest where it is listed as Altlanta - a name too good to be wrong.
Clear brown body topped by a good white head that leaves more lacing than expected.
Flavorful and excellent for style, although this could pass for a rich and rather hoppy brown ale.
About equal hop-malt balance.

Amber to brown large poofy head. Tasted of cinnamon malty muffin. Something sweet along with flavor finished pretty thick. ChainGangGuy (4919) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - APR 1, 2015
Appearance: Lightly hazed, dark golden-amber body with a fourth-of-an-inch, dusty, off-white head.
Smell: Sugar-encrusted toast, moderately grainy backed by modest, light notes smelling of dried herbs, fruit skins.
Taste: Water-soaked toast with a sliver of fastly departing sweetiness. Lightly fruity, with hints of apple and grapeskin. Grainy note, a bit husky, even, with a bit of astringency leeching into the flavor. Lightly herbal hops, medium-light bitterness, though, it’s more than enough to temper the sweetness at hand. Finishes dry.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: It’s altright. jrob21 (3774) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JAN 14, 2014
On tap at the pub. Chewy grain and caramel toffee flavors. Dry finish. Frothy white head adding some texture. Red fruit aroma that seems a little off maybe yeast. Cybercat (6017) - Georgia, USA - DEC 29, 2013
Pours a slightly hazy mahogany with a thick and fine-bubbled buff head. Malty aroma has hints of caramel and cloves. Bold flavor has malty, caramel, clove, earthy and subtle hoppy notes. Firm mouthfeel has fizz and tingle to spare. Oh Atlanta - dang, now that Little Feat song won’t get out of my head--
