Pretty pour, big resinous citrus on the nose with a noticeable toasty malt note. Taste follows but the malt is more pronounced than I would have expected, leading to an interesting tug of war in the long finish. Very drinkable overall but don't think I'd go for more than one as the ibu's are pretty far up

Draft at brewpub. Amber pour with a fluffy white head. Massive tropical fruit aroma with chewy malts. Sweet malts up front then huge tropical fruitiness of mangos, guava, starfruit, blood orange, and peaches. Very long lingering bitterness and medium full body. Great beer. Draft at the source. Hazy dark golden color, medium white head. Aroma of grapefruit and pine. Taste is bitter pine and tropical fruit. Cybercat (5960) - Georgia, USA - JAN 12, 2013
Comes out of the tap a semi-transparent mahogany with a thick, fine-bubbled light tan head. Malty aroma has a decidedly hoppy overtone. Strongly hoppy flavor has malt, caramel and fruity sub-notes and is scarcely bitter. Smooth texture leaves a nice, if not strong, fizz. I don’t know about taking the enamel off one’s teeth, but this is a respectable double IPA! Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - OCT 23, 2012
On tap at Wrecking Bar. Nose has a strong citrus component with some tropical notes in the background. Flavor is similar but adds in a bit too much malt. Nice bitterness.
