COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Just like it sounds, it is a hoppy rye lager. We created a recipe of all German malts and new German Polaris, Smaraged, and Mandarina Bavaria hops that we have recently acquired. Then, since we like rye so much, we made 16% of the grain bill rye. Then we used a lager yeast, essentially making a German Rye India Pale Lager! Slightly spicy from the rye , very smooth maltiness, and a distinct citrusy aroma from the Mandarina hops in the finish

Atlanta, Ga. - on tap at the brewpub. Light golden pour, soft snow white head. Light floral aroma, a hint of spruce. Crisp, fresh flavor with some nutty accents, some rye mintiness, a touch of citrus bitterness. Nice crisp mouthfeel. Enjoyable,

This was very nice beer at the brewpub. Sjigjtly coudy yellow color with a nice head, full mouth and the rye was balanced with malts and hops.

I generally don’t like comparing beer as I don’t like comparing athletes that much but this was about as awesome as New Belgium Hoopy Bock. Something about a hoppy lager and the thickness of the beer when done right is really fun. Pours golden with medium white head and splashes of lace. Smell is bits of spice (rye), citrus, crisp sweet maltiness. Taste is maltiness, hoppy citrus, floral and finishes with a creaminess but also a light body. The latter part is something that I have found in really nice lagers. Solid.

Pale yellow pour with creamy white head and lace. Rye malt, paper, and a hinto citrus. Sweet rye malt start, light paper, and a good citrus bitter. Medium bodied with smooth carbonation. different and good
