Draft. Crystal clear dark amber body with medium beige head. Aroma is moderately sweet, orange/grapefruit, light bread. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, some dank, orange, light astringency. Medium body, fairly resinous. Ferris (15267) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 9, 2014
Draft - Grapefruit, pin and a balanced caramel. Clear cold with a decent beige head. Bitter grapefruit and resin, with a pithy bitterness throughout that finishes dry. Bitterness overwhelms. PorterPounder (7965) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - APR 12, 2014
Atlanta, Ga. - on tap at the brewpub. Dark copper pour, medium thick off-white head, decent lacing. Aroma has some solid spruce notes with a a hint of ripening vegetables to go along with it. Flavor has the requisite citrus bitterness, some caramel malty notes, a bit of ripening vegetable funkiness. Decently thick mouthfeel. Solid IPA.

At the brewpub, deep amber color and modest head, plenty of hops, a bit more bitter than aromatic but certainly not thin. drfabulous (7941) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - APR 4, 2014
Draught at Wrecking Bar. Malty hoppy and dark in color IPA that has a nice bitter finish. Solid. jredmond (8284) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 26, 2013
Draft at the brewpub with Linh, Scarlett and mom. Pours a clear amber copper body with thin off white lacing. Aroma is sweet candy and pine. Mouthfeel is medium to thin bodied with notes of sweet pine, light bitterness and candy. Too sweet overall. A lot of caramel dominating the hop profile. b3shine (8870) - Indiana, USA - NOV 22, 2013
Draft to taster at the brewpub. Looks solid; malty though. A transparent reddish brown with off-white lacing. Smells and tastes of bitter hops and malt with an average mouthfeel. Grandpa’s IPA. drowland (8676) - Georgia, USA - OCT 30, 2013
10/30/13. On tap at Bleu Cafe. Mostly clear amber pour with a big khaki head that laces a ton. Mild hop aroma, dank, mild citrus, plenty of caramel, and even some biscuity chocolate aspect. Mild bitterness, some floral and piney hop character, but not much. Plenty of caramel and biscuit. Too many specialty malts. Meh.
