Bottle at the Greek restaurant in Windischeschenbach, 14/07/17. Muroyal orange with a well appointed light beige head. Nose is yeast, orange, nana chews, light bread. Taste comprises banana, clove, mellow spice, grains , bready notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough Hefe.

TEJA (3434) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 7, 2017
Sampled at Schoimichels. Small beige head. Served in a stone seidel. Fine and balanced banana aroma blended with pears. Fruity taste and small bitterness. Very nice summer beer.

50cl swing top bottle. Pours hazy orange golden colour with a huge creamy good lasting beige head. Aroma of yeast, clove and mild fruits. Taste of clove, mild ripe banana, yeast, bread, good Weizen!

TAR (2802) - Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, USA - DEC 5, 2014
Bottle, best before November 2014, consumed in Aug. 2014: Bronzed orange with minimal haze. Broken but tiny-bubbled white head. Rich malt aromatics of sugar cookie, breadcrust, and browned toffee. Hints of black licorice and baked apples. Soft and very fine carbonation. Tad thin in body. Bright minerals dovetail with supple peach-puree esters. Well-integrated sassy clove flavors underscore the remarkably rich melanoidins, which mimic browned toffee and fresh breadcrust. Juicy Hallertau deepens the beautifully clean and lean body. Bubblegum is perfectly subdued, generating merely a smidgeon of sweetness. Banana is thankfully subdued as well, so as to not interfere with the profuse pastry and spice-cake maltiness, yet it packs just enough weight to reinforce the sturdy wheatlike slickness. Intriguing interplay between coarse toast and the wheat-derived slickness. Mouthwatering minerals contrast with polished cookie and breadcrust notes as a honeysuckle hoppiness softly looms in the well-balanced finish. A neat hybrid.

3fourths (9386) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 13, 2014
From bottle dated November 2014. Cloudy amber with a lasting off-white head.
Sharp banana esters, mild clove-y spice and an impression of cinnamon apple bake. Sweet, medium body, creamy and soft in the mouth. Low bitterness, fresh tasting though plain, with lively carbonation.

Christian (14094) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 23, 2013
Cloudy golden with a small white head. Malty aroma with some yeast and a herbal touch, along with banana notes. Sweet yeasty and malty flavour

Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - OCT 19, 2012
It’s unclear, dark golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has sourish, yeasty, fruity notes, and the sweet flavor is infected, it has sour notes of yeast, fruit and wheat, and the finish is sour. Not really good...

Mariusz (12370) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - SEP 21, 2012
Pours cloudy dark yellow color with a diminishing white head. Sweet aroma of banana, yeast, herbal spices, and clove.

Quack-Duck (9569) - Down South, GERMANY - JUL 10, 2012
bottle from the brewery. Cloudy amber colour, large white head. Yeasty, slightly fruity, wheaty with a shy hoppy touch in the finish.

motelpogo (8031) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - FEB 26, 2012
bottle, at the brewpub. hazy dishwater golden with a lasting head; prickly aroma of passionfruit and pollen which reminded me somewhat of the schneider and brooklyn weizen; doughy and full-bodied, tinny finish; quie pleasant, in hindsight i can’t remember why i didn’t give it a higher score
