A straw coloured pour with a fast fading white head; sweet herbal aroma; sweet grainy body with a light herbal bitterness; and a clean refreshing finish.

UPDATED: MAY 12, 2017 Vom Flasche from getranke Fritze, Wurzburg. Pale yella, dissipating head. Botter slightly skunky. Nice bitterness but more leaning towards honey, bready and grassy. Nice German pils with a long bitter palate. Enjoyable, but not particularly special.

From a 12 oz bottle into a Rodenbach Grand Reserve glass. Pours gold with head and lace. Aroma of grains, straw, pale malt. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of rich grains, pale malt, straw hops, minerals, wheat, slight herbal bitterness. Overall full bodied with somewhat rich and bitter finish.

Bottle at home, Golden clear beer, small head. Aroma is grain, malt. Taste is the same, sweet. average pilsener, could be better.

Bamsen78 (5538) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - SEP 14, 2016
Bottle. Pours clear light golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast, with notes of malt and touches of hops. Sweetish, estery and malty flavour with bitter notes of hops. Estery and malty aftertaste. Medium to high carbonation and good mouthfeel. Reasonable for the style and quite refreshing but not top notch.

DCLawyer (2846) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - AUG 9, 2016
Bottle->footed pilsner. Lite gold with small frothy white head. Usual pilsner hops and grains, with some lemon and cracker. Not too corny. Decent for what it is.

Grumbo (3720) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - JUL 11, 2016
Bottle from a small beer orientated shop which I happened to walk passed in Frankfurt en route from Naiv to my hotel. Pale golden in colour win a small white head. Aroma of sweet corn, lightly malted, light hop. Medium sweetness, no detectable bitterness. Light/medium body, sticky texture, quite light carbonation. Finish is smooth with a light caramel sweetness. A bette than average Pilsner.
