Bah Humbug is a 6% abv brew using not just the traditional malted barley and hops, but also a big sprinkling of cinnamon. The effect of the cinnamon is to give a spicy, almost banana-like flavour as often found on German wheat beers; and this blends with the sweet-honeyed flavours of the Maris Otter barley to create a beer with all the fruit flavours of mince pies, Christmas Pudding and Christmas cake all rolled into one.

500ml bottle. Clear copper beer, small to medium off-white head. Nose is pear, malt, caramel notes, cinnamon, some sweetness. Flavor is malts and pear notes, some spice and berries. Finish is cinnamon and more pear, mild hops. Kinda odd, but the cinnamon is not bad.

Brown red with finger of off white head. Lots of aroma of dark fruit cherry malts Initial in the mouth Full flavour of fruits fills the mouth and has a "spicy" thing going on the side of the tongue. Medium body light carbonation with a slightly bitter follow through. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle. Clear, mahogany colour with copper glimmer and average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, sulphureous head. Mellow malty and slightly spicy aroma, hints of caramel, cherry, some cinnamon. Taste is moderately sweet malty, fruity, hints of dried fruit, cherry, banana chips, a touch of cinnamon, hoppy overtones with a touch of mint, mint toffee. Unspectacular but quite nice.

From elcervecero. In Ikea’s pint glass. Playing Blackwell Epiphany. Nice spicy touch with reminiscences to gumdrop that makes it very interesting and different from other wychwood offerings

Sweetish, almost winegummy taste and aftertaste. Fits the chrismas feeling :)
