Not much of a stout. Pale, and thin, with an unpleasantly metalling tang....

Pale brown-black colour. Neutral smell, neutral flavour, light bodied. Leaves me unimpressed

Pretty bad example of a stout. Aroma much like a simple ale. Appearance lacking the blackness of a great stout. And last but not least, it didn't even taste good, very light and unoffensive.

Light, transparent brown colour; touch of coffeeish chocolate, but only a touch; thinnish, slightly gritty body; finishes in an instant. Bad example.
