Very dark with creamy head, not lasting very long. Very weak roasty, coffee aroma. Similar taste very weak with a good bitterness but nothing else really. Teran (355) - Belgrade, SERBIA - MAR 3, 2018
Very dark non-transparent porter, in colour and in taste. Dark chocolate and strong roasted bitter cofee with significant butter. Very interesting beer, would be better with higher alcohol to avoid watery result. Bit maybe even that is making this beer so interesting. Medioum carbonation. Surprise really. Smooth, light with a welcome biitterness from the chocolate and liquorice flavours. The aroma of roasted malt is stronger than what the taste offers up and I'd like it to be of a slightly thicker texture but a decent porter that;s hard to dislike. mike_xabia (2) - SPAIN - FEB 24, 2018 does not count
I love a good black beer and this is a very good black beer. Pouring well with a decent head, it has a tempting mix of chocolate and caramel in the aroma and a pleasant bitter taste and comfortable aftertaste. Davros IX (635) - Hertford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 14, 2018
Bottle at home from Morrisons. A very handsome pour into the tankard and a nice little head on the top. The first aroma was liquorice, but that was quickly replaced by burnt malt. The initial taste was a surprising and very welcome bitterness that was quickly rounded off by all of the malt into a smooth and surprisingly pleasant beer. I approached this beer with my usual suspicion of Wychwood, but once again I have to admit that it was very good.

Copenhagen 4/2-2018. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Painting of pale but shady lady whom I assume is the Black Witch on the label. And a occult tagline: "A Dark Mysterious Spellbinding Porter". Hard to resist. Pours very dark, opaque brown with beige head. Settles as thin layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing. Aroma is pretty weak for a Porter. Sweet caramel, brown sugar and lactose. Medium carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is fairly bitter with a hint of licorice. Lingering. Reminds me more of a bitter than a Porter. But fortunately a decent bitter. hohops (1200) - Kent, ENGLAND - JAN 28, 2018
Appearance is almost black, opaque. A small light brown head. Aroma- coffee, dark malts, dark chocolate. Taste- bitter dark chocolate, treacle toffee, ashy roast malt. YantarCoast (1690) - Moscow, RUSSIA - JAN 14, 2018
500ml bottle from Bliznetsy in Moscow. Pours black with a lasting medium-sized beige head. Aroma is caramel, roastiness, coffee. Taste is butter, toasted malt, caramel, medium bitterness. parpalapelix (34) - Arad, ROMANIA - JAN 9, 2018
Black color with small fast disappearing brown head.Aroma has oats and sugary malts. Mild roasted finish.Dominant bitter taste with some smokey and light malt sweetness in finish. Ok, a but thin overall. AWS9 (756) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 5, 2018
Bottle. Decent dark pour with airy/foamy head. Oats and sugary malts in the nose. Bit oily body. Mild roasted finish. Seems to lack the character of a more well-crafted porter, and the finish is disappointingly thin. Meh.
