Rusty hue to appearance. Foamy head thatís not too big but not just coating . Not much nose. Weird initial taste. Hard to describe. Dry finish. Malty notes and bit citrus. No aftertaste. Ok to chug etc. not unpleasant by any means but forgettable

2.9
tombyars (1683) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - APR 12, 2016
Tasted this in the Red Squirrel, Stevenston on the 22nd March 2016. Cask, handpump dispense. Crystal clear pale copper in colour with a thin white creamy head. Malty aroma with sweet date fruit present. Thin creamy mouthfeel and good lacing. Mixed malts give a maltloaf base with sweet toffee and raisin fruit notes present. Earthy flavour to the hop resins gives a standard bitter backbone in the short aftertaste. Finish is malty with weak syrupy dates evident in the palate. Run of the mill bitter to be honest.

kwik-lime (1915) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 2, 2016
Cask at the Cabbage Patch, Twickenham. Not on a rugby day, I hasten to add. Caramel and malt sweetness balanced by earthy hops. Solid bitter.

Cimbasso (888) - - FEB 25, 2016
Sampled on draught at the John Baird in Muswell Hill. Light brown with a white head. Some caramel on the nose, and a taste of light toffee, hints of apple and an earthy, moderately bitter finish. Easy drinking and quite light.

Beer5000 (6433) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 20, 2016
Cask @ Wagon Works, Eastleigh. Clear, deep golden body with a thin, lacing off-white head. Mild fruity aroma with a hint of caramel. Mild, soft flavor of caramel malt, citric fruit and apples with moderate bitterness. Medium body and aftertaste. Light and easy, quite smooth but lack some personality.

Clear brown colour. Very smooth texture. Quite a sweet beer with a dry woody finish.

BeerViking (4701) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 19, 2015
Cask at the Green Man in the City, brown with a lacing head and nice malty and herby nose. A little tasty sweet golden fruit and burnt toffee initially, but a bit acrid in the finish. Needs more work.

anfractuosity (407) - - OCT 6, 2015
Fairly bland, although rather quaffable bitter. Could probably do with some more crystal etc. malts.
