500ml clear bottle 4.5% ABV. Poured a clear lightly carbonated red chestnut with white gold frothy quickly diminishing
head. Disappointing cereal aroma. Well balanced malt/ hopflavour with biscuit overtones & good bitterness. Well rounded mouthfeel with long bitter finish.
Bottle. Bronze with no carbonation.Initial impression is of bitterness that lingers well after drinking.Reasonable although the rather tatty label doesn’t impress. anders37 (26678) - Malmö, SWEDEN - OCT 6, 2006
Bottle. Amber colour with a small off-white head. Malty slightly dusty aroma with some hints of hops. Sweet malty flavor with some hints of caramel. Also some thin hoppy hints. Malty finish some bitter aftertste. RichardGretton (4770) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 11, 2006
Bottle. Reddish brown beer with a strongish head. The aroma is toffee and hopped, and the flavour is quite weak but well hopped with a dry toffee finish. Overall an average beer. hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 4, 2006
Amber with a good head. Malty aroma. The taste has citric sourness, a little sweetness, and plenty of malt. The fizz spoils it for me, but no doubt it will go down a treat with its intended constituency.

Bottled. Gingered amber body, with soft nutty looking head. Sharp, lifting, bitterness rises from the bottle. Nutty, bisquity bitterness, strong and unmistakably Wychwood. Fin (10608) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 24, 2006
Bottle, picked up in Morrisons Tewksbury (about a week or two back) Amber coloured beer, with malty nose, bit citrusy in the flavour department but otherwise a bit ordinary. Mungo (2470) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - MAY 23, 2006
Bottle (from sainsburys, BBE Mar 07). A little citric hop, suprisingly strong caramel biscuity malts. A bit sweet in the mouth with the hops fading. JonMoore (2067) - Loughborough, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 14, 2006
Bottle. Amber coloured with a slim off-white head. Aroma of malts, caramel and nuts. Some citrus in the taste along with a nutty malty flavour. Dry and lightly bitter. Nothing exceptional, but a drinkable bitter, that was better than I was expecting. leaparsons (10598) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2006
Bottle. Dark amber with a small head. Aromas are light caramel malts with some nuttiness. Some citrus notes with butter. Flavours are sweet malts with corn, butter and a light roast character. Sweet and acidic lemon comes through with a non-bitter, quite flat finish. Very average.
