Traditionally Crafted Legendary Ruby Beer.
Hobgoblin is strong in roasted malt with a moderate hoppy bitterness and slight fruity character that lasts through to the end.
The ruby red coloured Hobgoblin is full-bodied and has a delicious chocolate toffee malt flavour balanced with a rounded moderate bitterness and an overall fruity character.

On tap in Hawkinge, Kent @The Mayfly. Nice, creamy, long lasting head with dark, creamy body. Taste of caramel and nuts. Unfortunately the beer got a bit watery in the pint the more it was drunk, but nevertheless a great taste.

This beer has a really interesting aroma. It smells much like an ale but there is something different which I canít out my finger on. It had a malty flavor and finishes clean.

Very sour characteristically british aroma. The beer is a gorgeous dark ruby color. Malty flavor with a bitter finish.

Vladivostok (483) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUL 1, 2012
Dark, almost porter coloured with a nice off-white head. Flavours are subtle - licorice, roasted malts. All very gentle with no strong hop flavours but a really tasty Burton type beer. I like it.

NikkTwist (3191) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 26, 2012
Cask at Khyber Pass. Dark orange honey brown with a foamy tan head. Light sweet toasted malt notes balanced against a mild hop bitterness. Slight carbonation on the tongue but the body still reads very thin. Flavors are pleasant just not very complicated and too watered down.

martinrumsam (565) - BARNSTAPLE, Devon, ENGLAND - MAY 10, 2012
cask deep brown with ruby hints thin beige head no lacing .minimal carbonation .malt/floral nose . fruity / toffee taste , pleasant bitter finish , smooth , a touch watery . not bad though
