Traditionally Crafted Legendary Ruby Beer.
Hobgoblin is strong in roasted malt with a moderate hoppy bitterness and slight fruity character that lasts through to the end.
The ruby red coloured Hobgoblin is full-bodied and has a delicious chocolate toffee malt flavour balanced with a rounded moderate bitterness and an overall fruity character.

Draught at Hobgoblin. Mostly toffee with a bit of plum and grassy notes, bittersweet finish. Decent for the style I guess but a bit too heavy for my liking.

Tasted from the tap on the 24/10/2015. Nothing special, malt and caramels predominates in this beer. Next one please!

Punktabzug für sehr schwachen Schaum. Direkt nach dem Zapfen verschwunden. Im Aroma fruchtiger Hopfen und Karamell. Im Geschmack Punktabzug weil wässrig. Wenig Körper. Ansonsten viel Karamell, sehr fruchtig und blumig. Aber nichts besonderes.

Dark red color, medium head. Aroma caramel, fruit and hops. Taste first sweet, caramel, full body, bitter finish. Balanced taste. More bitterness in aftertaste. One of my favorite.

Tap. Dark amber colored with a creamy, tan longlasting head. The nose starts off fruity along with some toasty maltiness. Taste start mild and slightly sweet and turn more and more bitter till the finish. The fruity flavor stays but gets domanited by the bitterness at some point. The body is light to medium as is the carbonation. Very easy drinking.

Ruby brown color with aroma of fruits. First taste was nice mild, bitterness slowly appears. Unfortunatelly, wouldn’t drink it again.
