Traditionally Crafted Legendary Ruby Beer.
Hobgoblin is strong in roasted malt with a moderate hoppy bitterness and slight fruity character that lasts through to the end.
The ruby red coloured Hobgoblin is full-bodied and has a delicious chocolate toffee malt flavour balanced with a rounded moderate bitterness and an overall fruity character.

Cask (Bun Shop, Cambridge)
Brown, thin head. Toffee maltiness on the nose. Rich brown hoppiness, apple, woody and walnutty. Also some raisininess too. Sturdy malt base too - good strong bitter.

Cask. Dark chestnut brown colour. Very mild flavour, hint of tea. A bit malty and sourish in the finish. Not a great beer in my opinion.

Cask at The Golden Fleece in York. Pours dark amber with a creamy beige head. Mild roasty aroma. Flavor is mildly spicy and moderately malty. Something like a flavorful amber.

imdownthepub (15395) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 14, 2003
Cask Conditioned, Red Lion, Cropredy. Dark Red brown colour, thin head. Strong on roased Malt with some bitterness but it is the full fruity nut and smoky flavour that pulls it through. Apologies to all that have to drink the pasteurised bottled version which has little of the character left.
