Cask hadpump quite regularly at the Hobgoblin on the Cowley Road. Dark reddish strong bitter that is quite malty and fruity, it is quite a busy beer flavour wise but has never been my favourite of the Wychwood stable. KimJohansen (10492) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - SEP 14, 2008

Pour on tap at Old Chicago, dark reddish brown pour with thin off white head, aroma brought notes of some sour grain, caramel, toffee, hints of spice, slight cardboard, just not the right tastes in here. Taste is similar, some sour grain, cardboard, some slight sweet caramel, toffee, finishing fairly sweet, slightly bitter. jmgreenuk (9455) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - FEB 6, 2014
Cask at the Green Lion, Malmo. Poured a clear dark amber with a thin white head. The aroma is light hop fruit. The flavour is medium bitter with a rich fruit malt light hop bitter palate and a short bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Served a little cool but that didn’t do it much harm. Better in the cask than the bottle! DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAR 5, 2006
