Almost clear dark amber color with big thick brown head, shame it fades too fast. Creamy malt aroma with hops and some dried fruit notes. Taste is sweet and dry with some light bitterness. Light to medium body.

Frothy sandy coloured head stayed on a dark oak coloured still body. Medium body. Creamy on the palate. Cloying. Malt, plum & demerara sugar aroma. Dark fruit, malt, sugar & grape with hint of smoke.

Can from Sainsburys. This beer is so much better than I found from the can, just found it deeply unpleasant. Confirms my long held suspicion of canned ales.

Clear dark amber, small beige head. Malty, hoppy aroma. Bitter and malty flavour, sweet caramely notes.

Barwa rubinowa, ciemna, piana be?owa, wysoka i trwa?a, pozostawia mnóstwo zdobie?. Aromat ma?o intensywny, jest troch? ciemnych s?odów daj?cych delikatnie czekoladowe i kawowe akcenty, jest odrobina rodzynek. Smak to ponownie troch? ciemnych s?odów i odrobina rodzynek. Goryczka raczej niska chmielowa i krótka. Hobgoblin’owi brakuje troch? cia?a, nasycenie ?rednie.

0,5l Flasche. Kräftig dunkel glänzendes rotes Bier mit hellem flüchtigem Schaum. Es riecht überraschend stark nach Alkohol. Rum, Holz und Malz. Angenehm reduzierte Kohlensäure. Im Geschmack bitteres Malz, Rum. Im Abgang Schokolade.

demannu (451) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 8, 2017
Malty aroma with slight fruit notes. Taste is well balanced overall. A little sweet, just enough hops to balance, nice fruity character. Light bitter drier finish. Thin medium body with good carbonation. Simple but drinkable beer.
