Smak och doft av malt, humle, karamell, torkad frukt, toner av körsbär. Bra balans mellan sötma och beska.

Similar to hobgoblin. Pours amber with small diminishing head to no head. Aromas malty and sweet. Tastes light bitter and sweet, pleasant stronger hobgoblin.

mile (3947) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 24, 2013
Bottle. Amber, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, caramel - some toffee, some dark fruits. Body is moderate and malty and sweetish, caramel - some toffee, some dark fruits. Finish is average, malty and sweetish, some caramel and light roasted malt, light fruitiness and faint hoppyness. Caramel sweetish strong ale - that’s it.

tampierre (1383) - Pilsen, CZECH REPUBLIC - MAR 24, 2013

zenkis (861) - Ogre, LATVIA - MAR 21, 2013
Pours clear, deep brown reddish with white off top, medium lasting, a bit lacing afterwards. Aroma is rich malty-bready, bongbong candy, sweetish dark fruits, a bit alcohol also comes out. Liked so intense aroma. Taste is semisweet, far away sour plus pleasantly above medium bitter from hopping - this brew overall reminds me more of bitter but aromatic one, with no yeasty profile presence. Palate - medium body, light dry finish, sort of toasted malt bitter in aftertaste (also in first aroma was a bit of toasted malt). Mild spicy bouquet. O.A. - very aromatic, bitter ale, minus was confusion about accordance to style, not easy drinkable, complex flavor.

anfractuosity (416) - - MAR 20, 2013
Very nice beer, like a stronger version of hobgoblin. Nice darkish ambery colour.

sputnikus (96) - Brno, CZECH REPUBLIC - MAR 19, 2013
Aroma is malty, with some fruit (pears, cherries) and molasses. Hazy amber with minimal taned head. Taste is sweet with alcohol bitterness. Medium body and oily texture and very lively carbonation. Long malty finish. Nothing fancy here, just good old strong ale.

rocbyter (2124) - Waterbury, Connecticut, USA - MAR 16, 2013
Sweet fruity malt aroma. Hazy amber color with a medium tan head. Moderate sweet beginning with a mild alcohol bitterness in the finish.
