King Goblin 500mL, unfortunately out of the bottle. Skunk, straw, English hops. Sweet with a bitter alcoholy finish. Medium bodied, silky and creamy. On occasion, I love me a nice hobgoblin, but this just doesn't seem to be worth the effort and elevated price. Solid, but not spectacular.

500ml bottle. Pours dark amber with a large off-white head. Aroma is nutty, dark fruits, toasted malt. Taste is sweet, malt, toffee, bit boozy.

Vörösesbarna szín, kicsi, gyorsan eltűnő hab. Fűszeres, karmelles illat. Karamelles, fűszeres ízvilág. Közepesen testes, közepesen szénsavas és keserű. Tisztességesen összerakott sör, de semmi több.

Nice slightly clear amber color with big thick brownish head. Malt and caramel aroma. Sweet taste with light bitter and dry aftertaste. Really good and easygoing beer.

2016 catch up - Very forward alcohol and lots of malt. It was actually quite "Belgian" in both the flavour and the texture. It grew on me as I made my way through the pint and there was a good lacing all the way down the inside of the tankard

Bottle (duh!). Clear red body, medium beige head. The aroma has nuts, peach and oak. The taste is like a weak barley wine: some cognac, fruits, a great strong ale. Very brittish.

Bottle from Tesco. Pours rich brown with deep head. Aroma intensely alcoholic with plum and some savoury notes.
