Scent of apple, malt, and caramel. Clear copper colour. Slight sweetness with mild bitterness. Notes of malt, toffee, and vanilla. Medium body and lively carbonation.

14. 11. 2017, Ljubljana. Bottled. Aroma is subdued and not that present. Starts of with a sweet note and finishes off wit a more bitter fell to it, but nicely balanced out. Aftertaste could even be a bit on the sweet side. Low carb, classical lager feel to it. I could have easily mistaken it for a lager beer.

Exceptional beer, nice and string, malty, toffee and caramel notes, a little fruity and not too sweet or bitter, even a little hoppy.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2017 Dark with little head. Good malty profile with a little bitterness. Pretty good for style.

Bottle, gift from Mum. Clear ruby/amber body with a medium beige head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of plum and fruit pudding. Flavour of berries, raisins and wood. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Rather nice. I think this would be great on cask.

6.6% alk.

Bijl (811) - NETHERLANDS - AUG 13, 2017
Licht bruin, zeer helder, crèmekleurige schuimkraag, weinig koolzuur. Aroma: Beetje metaal, karamel, Moutig, brood/biscuit, iets kruidig. Smaak: Geroosterde mout, karamel, donker fruit , spicy noble hops, aarde/mossig en iets noot achtig. Meer kruidig dan bitter en iets droog in de afdronk en een beetje alcohol. Medium body en vrij zacht mondgevoel.

Malty, sweet, caramel on the nose. Same goes for the taste. Medium, oily, soft. Longish finish, somewhat alcoholic, somewhat fruity. Overall, could be better, could be worse.

From elcervecero. In Ikea’s pint glass. Watching Game of Thrones 7x01 + playing Pillars of Eternity. Caramel and even children bubblegum in a good body and great feeling thanks to a well adjusted noble hops bitterness. I want another

500ml bottle. Pours a dark ruby with a tan head. Nose is caramel, toffee, prunes, Christmas cake and earthy floral hops. Fairly thick sweet mouth feel. Taste is sweet caramel, toffee, dark fruits, slight alcohol burn, floral bitterness. Quite a grower this one, gets better as the beer goes down.
