pure beer indulgence is right, bitch. this is what I’m talking about. it’s got the right stuff, baby. here we go, man. it’s what beer drinkers drink when were drinking beer. anything else, would be preposterous.

Served in a snifter from a bottle. Clear dark amber colour with medium head. Aroma of caramel, dark malts, dry fruits, butterscotch and bread. Taste is nicely balanced, bitter-sweet, with malty, caramel and nutty notes. Alcohol is virtually unnoticeable. Long, pleasant, slightly dry finish. Great stuff!!!

Sabor forte e marcante, ótima cerveja. Feita apenas em noites de lua cheia (pelo menos de acordo com o rótulo...)

UPDATED: SEP 10, 2011 Bottle, Dark Amber colour. Smell of Malt, Caramel, and flowery. Prickly and bitter feel. Rasin, Dark fruit, strong malt. sour aftertaste. The sour aftertaste seems to dissapear as I drink it and the dark fruit taste just becomes more powerful.

Bottle 500ml from Purvis. Great malty beer, with intense flavour. Aromas of caramel, biscuit, bread, cherries, pine, with hints of chocolate. Taste is sweet, with bitter notes, and long length. Palate is creamy, and full bodied. Amber, with a frothy head.

Dark English Ale, special reserve & brewed under a full moon. This ale goes down far smoother than Hobgoblin.... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A nice light copper color and light head. Very nice nutty aroma that is not too overpowering. Somewhat sweet caramelike taste at the front with a very mild only slightly bitter finish. Not over hopped. Sweeter than I normally like but this is very well balanced. Very nice beer for a cold evening. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
