Bottle conditioned 500ml drank on 31 July 2013: BBD 3 Aug 2013, so it was poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard just four days before it’s life ran out!
No sediment left the bottle: I got a clean brown beer with a ruddy red hue, on top an off-white head of tight foam.
Malty lead with a slight hop finish, fruity with caramel notes. Nothing too strong or powerful, in fact it was almost bland. Not one of Wye Valley’s better brews, hope the cask version comes out with more oomph! maeib (8751) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - JUL 21, 2013
Bottled 14/07/13. A mid brown coloured beer with a dense whitish head. A malty beer with nutty sweetness. Not a great depth of flavour but reasonable enough. The nuttiness dominates the nose. joergen (28991) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 13, 2013
