COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mainly available bottle conditioned. Occasionally available on cask.
The fields of barley ripening in the sunshine; the hops climbing up the bines in late summer... It was sights like these that inspired Dorothy to create her Country Ale.
Made with all-natural ingredients, it’s a must for any discerning drinker who savours the summer and cares about the countryside.
This strong, full-bodied ruby ale can be enjoyed on its own or as a partner to red meat dishes, cheeses and even rich steamed puddings.

Dark amber with a frothy head. Sweet, leathery aroma. The taste begins with some sweet maltiness, but the bitter hit is prompt, ashy and aggressive. Just what I was feeling like today.

Clear copper with small creamy beige head, nice circular lacing. A bit like drinking a weak port but nevertheless a very drinkable beer. some spicy wheat and hops in there Aftertaste is pleasant and rather gentle considering the 6 per cent strength.

Gorbalev (3000) - Ontario, CANADA - FEB 17, 2006
Bottle, labeled as "Our Glass", shared with blankboy and Hogtown Harry, courtesy of Harry. Musty tea, cinnamon, herbal, rootbeer and malt aroma. Dark brown/orange, very still and flat looking. Very sweet musty malt taste. Tea like. A little thin. A grower, it became a little more like a weak Scotch Ale. Some bitterness and alcohol, but not a ton. Ok, didn’t like it as much as my drinking companions.
