330ml bottle from Fenwick's, Newcastle:
Quite a hop-filled beer but one that was overly sweet & lacking a balance which made it a difficult one to drink too. The beer started well & the nose in particular was a good one thanks to the surprising addition of some coconut to go with the vanilla & caramel notes but when these carried over to the taste then the beer seemed overdone & began to turn sickening a little further on. There was some interesting flavours & a nice variety to this one from Wylam but it was a little sweet & overpowering for me so it's not one that I'd pick up again sadly.

Bottle purchased from Honest Brew. A hazy orange coloured pour with a healthy white head on top. Typical sorachi, lemon grass aroma. Tastes of sorachi, citrus, lemon, slight coconut. Not a bad effort but I found this quite bitter, would have preferred a little more sweetness.

24-OCT-2017, bottle @home, from Boxbeers. Hazy orange with a huge white head. Too big for an APA. Sorachi Ace clearly. Cocoa, spice, herbs, mint, yeast, toasted malt. Medium body, lively carbonation, some bitterness.

Bottle at The Sugglers Tavern. Pours dark gold with a lasting white head. Aroma of lemongrass, distinctive Sorachi Ace, coriander, citrus lemon and orange and light butterscotch. Moderate sweetness and bitterness, touch salty. Medium body, slight oily and creamy texture, soft carbonation but with fizzy mouthfeel. Finish is dry. Pretty decent.

Pours hazy yellow with a massive head. Malt and orange rind nose. Taste is bitter citrus with some earthiness. Long finish. Not too interesting but nice enough for what it is.
