Cask at Siren Sessions and Sours day, 11/07/15. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a decent off white cap that retains well. Nose is melon, citric sherbets, light bread dough, straw. Taste comprises semi dank hop strokes, melon, light pine, orange pith. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with lingering hop bitterness. Decent hoppy session fayre.

Fill from Grunting Growler’s pop-up at Peckham’s in Glasgow. Pours an opalescent amber with a white head. Aroma, floral, citrus, and hops. Taste, pine, grapefruit, and a dry bitter finish. I enjoyed it.

Cask at the Siren sours and sessions fest. Light hazed golden orange coloured pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is sticky hop resin, pine resin, strawberry. Resin, rough grassy hop. Flavour is semi sweet, caramel. Hop, pine resin, orange rind. Palate is sticky, medium bodied. Moderate to low carbonation. Bit rough round the edges. Good stuff.

Cask Hawkshead BF. Big bitter hop aroma, with a little background soapiness. Otherwise a very bitter beer, acidic and with bags of flavour.

Pint at the Cluny Newcastle, served in a plastic glass for shame. Amber with a white head Lemon citrus aroma. More lemon flavour with an oily resinous mouth feel. Alright, bit somewhat eclipsed by the Allendale forge we had earlier.
