On tap at Wynkoop, pours a deep dark amber with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out toasted bready malt and some harsh resinous hop oils. Flavour is along the same lines but better, with resinous hop oils and toasted caramel malt. Malty body, yet finishes hoppy and bitter. Nice stuff. jtclockwork (17101) - , New Jersey, USA - OCT 7, 2013

On tap at Colorado Plus poured a clear reddish amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, earthjiness, citrus and light pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, fruittiness and light earthiness with a smooth dry lightly bitter lingering fruity finish. bu11zeye (13140) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - FEB 5, 2016
(Draught) Pours a dark amber body with a medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, pineapple, and pine. Flavor of herbs, caramel, grass, citrus, and pine with a moderately bitter finish. onceblind (10327) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 23, 2012
Tap at Wynkoop. Clear amber with a thin white head, very hoppy aroma of fresh pine and grapefruit with a huge caramel backbone. Taste is the same; lots of grapefruit and pine hoppiness with a lot of semi-boozy caramel sweetness and a dry earthy toffee finish. Not shabby, but there’s just a tad too much bitterness.

Head is initially average sized, creamy/frothy, off-white to light brown, mostly lasting.
Body is medium to dark amber.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, cookie), moderately hoppy (resin, grapefruit), lightly to moderately yeasty (dough), with a note of butter/diacetyl.
Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter.
Medium to full body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic.
Kinda clunky and simple, basically a resin bomb (although not very aromatically strong in general) with some raw doughy yeast. ajnepple (6981) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 23, 2013
12 oz can from Evergreen Discount Liquors. Dark red and slightly hazy with a lasting, off-white head that leaves thick lacing. Aroma is citrus fruits, caramel, sweet malts, light pine, light alcohol and toffee. Similar flavor, medium bitterness and mild sweetness. Medium bodied with a bittersweet finish. Not bad.
