Can - shouldn’t this be listed as a Vienna? - anyway - pours a cloudy copper - very spare lacing - doesn’t look that great - nose of nutty and toasty maltiness, some sweet and fruity coffee bean, light caramel - taste is medium bitter, with some sweet, toasted bread maltiness - the coffee is integrated decently into all of this, but there are also some notes of butter and some vegetal notes, as well - eh.

12 oz can from Bergen Park Liquors. Copper appearance with a white head. Malty, smooth, semi-sweet and creamy with light fruity notes. The coffee aspect is pretty minimal. Pretty clean and easy to drink. It was just OK, overall.

12 oz can. Pours clear copper orange with a big bubbly white head that goes to a thin film and leaves a little lacing.
The aroma is sweet biscuity caramel and toffee malts with some chocolate and coffee. Smells like dessert.
The flavor is nutty biscuit malts with some sweet roast coffee. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with low carbonation.
Overall, a nice coffee beer. The sweet coffee goes well with the nutty caramel malts. Reminds me of NBB Giddy Up.

On tap at the brewpub on 10/15/07: Pours a clear orange bronze with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of grainy pale maltiness with a mild sweetness and some earthy hops. Body starts with a mild malty sweetness and some graininess and earthy bittering hops. Finishes slightly roasty, drier and bittersweet. An interesting brew.

Tap @ Wynkoop. Hazy deep golden color with a small lacy off-white head. Caramel and bready malt aroma with some earthy notes. Hint of coffee underneath. Malty caramel with a mild coffee finish. Some hops mix in as well. That’s a good thing because it would seem odd with more. Light to medium body.
