Golden color. Bright peppery nose - maybe with a hint of underlying malt, but all about the pepper aroma and flavor here. Light heat and a hint of implied smoke (though I don't think there is any). Well done. Block (2950) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - OCT 9, 2016
Backlog entry: Flight at the brewery in Denver. Decent beers, all average. Most on the lighter side but aligned with the style. drjay44 (3795) - Salida, Colorado, USA - DEC 1, 2015
12 oz. can. Opens a moderate gusher. Pours a moderate, poorly retained white head, over a clear, effervescent, dark gold (SRM 6) body........ nose is green chile, very slight hints of smoke, cereal, minimal hops, balance to the chile........taste is moderate green chile, mild chile heat, light base malts, ending with mild lingering chile heat, with vague hints of hop bitterness.......mouth feel, light body, no alcohol, high carbonation. This is a very subtle chile beer. The chile aroma and flavor are there with only minimal chile heat. The base beer is very light in both the malt and hop back bones, with the resulting creation being a very simple beer. BJCP 6/2/10/4/6 haddon90 (1634) - Newport Beach, California, USA - MAR 26, 2015
Draft at Ale House at Amato’s. Pours a clear, dark golden color with a thin white head. Malty aroma with a slight hint of spice. Smooth taste. Grassy feel with a light kick. Not too shabby. Danyel (1606) - Colorado, USA - SEP 2, 2014
Can. Pours clear orange with white head. Aroma is of spicy peppers, green peppers, earthy. Taste is very hot pepper but no heat, lingering pepper finish, light body, a bit flat. Good.

Pours a classic golden color with a short white cap perpetually fed by carbination bubbles from the bottom. Big chile nose. Wet, but mildly astringent. Some carbonation burn. Chile flavors and that’s about all. But that’s fine with me. Love chile beers. Oakes (18472) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 18, 2014
Slightly hazy, thin head, big chile aroma, fresh anaheim mostly. Green-tasting, fresh and balanced with just a touch of earthy ancho. Maybe some diacetyl kicking up late. radagast83 (8299) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - FEB 21, 2014
12oz can, brought to me by a co-worker who frequents Colorado. Poured a dark fizzy yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was some light chile notes, smells like other chile beers. Flavor is roasted and smoked pepper, but there’s no heat at all in this one. Quite flavorful and enjoyable for people who like chilies and beer. ajnepple (6960) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 8, 2013
12 oz can from Evergreen Discount. Gold and hazy with a white head and light lacing. Strong aroma of spicy hot chile peppers. Flavor is mild to medium heat with a light body. Beaver (1828) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - OCT 31, 2013
12 oz can. Pours hazy golden yellow with a medium frothy white head that goes to a thin film and leaves some lacing.
The aroma is fresh chile peppers (Anaheim?).
The flavor is some sweet malts with chile flavor. It’s got a little heat but is pretty mild. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a solid mild chile beer. Good flavor, but not a lot of heat.
