Cask conditioned handpump Plough Towcester 19/02/13. A golden beer with a white bubbly head. Sweet and slightly yeasty in the nose. Sharp and bitter in the mouth with more yeastiness. Not the nicest of beers.

Cask (handpump) @ Bar Fringe, 8 Swan Street, Manchester, Greater Manchester, England M4 5JN.
Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, apple, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, apple, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.
On cask at Bar Fringe. Pours a dark golden colour with a decent white head. Aroma of yeast, caramel and barley. Similar flavours and quite yeasty again. Fairly dry to finish. A little sweet so not really my thing.
