black with a very thin brownish head, probably served much too cold in the bar I ordered this. Aroma is malt ,coffee, roast.. Flavor is dark chocolate, hops, hints of espresso. The aftertaste is way too roasty for my taste though. Its possible i would rate this a tad higher if id drunk this at the right temperature.

From tap. Pours a dark copper to black with a light brown creamy head. The aroma is moderately malty with roasted malt (caramel and coffee) along with a light hoppiness. Medium watery body with a light bitterness and some fruity acidity. The taste is mainly roasted malt - dark coffee - along with some fruity notes (sour apples, green grapes.

Tap at Craft Bier Fest Wien. Slightly too carbonated but otherwise it is a very good stout. Strong assertive roastiness, coffee and cocoa. Moderate balancing caramel. Slightly plainly roasty, but good at that.

On tap @ scrappy: black beer with brown thick head. Aroma of coffe, chocolate, taste is heavy for a 5.5 ABV beer. Intense coffe, very roasty, some ash or burnt flavours. Medium body, long finish, good stout!

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2015 This is a bold beer. It has an almost black body, brown foam and a taste of chocolate and toffee. The taste of its creamy body reminded me of chocolate, coffee und caramel. Very drinkable, but heavy - although ist only has 5,5% alcohol. Bottle (past due date but declared so and sold at a reduced price) bought at Bierboutique Graz.

Black, non transparent, tan medium creamy head. Aroma is milk chocolate, dark chocolate, roasted coffee. Taste is medium to low sweet caramel, chocolate, bitter chocolate, some herbal grassy hops, bit of roasted malt acidity and a dry coffee bitter finish. Dark chocolate aftertaste but some acidity also. Medium bodied and carbonation. Roasted acidity brings it down unfortunately. (bottle Beer Store Vienna, Vienna, A)

Bottle. Black body no head and very low carbonation. Aroma is roasted malts with some coffee. Taste is also roasted malts with some sourness and hints of cocoa and some dried fruits. Aftertaste is medium bitter a little bit sour, and some alcohol. O.K. Stout. I think I will re rate this because of the lost carbonation.
