Bottle. Black with a beige head. Smokey aroma with coffee, toasted malts and licorice in aroma. All good stuff and raising my expectations in regards to flavour. Luckily this beer delivers all the way. Flavour of licorice, a hint of vanilla, smoke, a touch of chocolate, toasted malts and coffee bitterness along with a shot of hop freshness makes up for a really great beer. My dad and I shared two bottles of this after having tasted it at Ølbutikken, and we wished we’d bought more. Dedollewaitor (16762) - Odense, DENMARK - JAN 10, 2010
Bottle @ Ølbutikken. Pours pitch black with a creamy beige head and lacings. Nose is hard roasted malts - chocolate and coffee - vaguely ashy. Heavy and bitter roasted flavor. Smooth and full bodied. Nice KimJohansen (10504) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - JAN 9, 2010
