Light unclear medium orange amber color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, fruity, dried fruit, moderate hoppy, earthy. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, smoked - plastic, sweet malt, dried fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic.

Murky Sedona pour with a cloudy eggshell head spotted with a combination of pinhead and pebble-sized bubbles. Pretty subtle aroma...light caramel and honey. Flavor shows some of the alcohol and also displays toffee, brown sugar, and a touch of citrus. Medium mouthfeel.

Proletariat, NYC tap ($9): Pours reddish with an off-white head. Aroma is a little smoky and burnt, with sugar, molasses, and some caramel. Taste is sweet, but powerfully counterbalanced against the bitterness. Certainly a sipper. Not too heavy body. Alcohol is well-covered. Pretty good. 50cl bottle pours with a clear amber to ruby red body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up sweetness, a dash or two of prunes and figs and then a touch of smokiness. The taste starts with smooth sweet malts and then it gets into some prune and fig like sweet dark fruity esters. Toward midway a nice smooth smoky to peaty note takes over the flavor and takes everything right to the finish. This is a smooth tasty and rich barleywine. I like it. Tap. Poured clear dark copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy tropical fruit, sour citrus hop and small alcohol aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate complex bittersweet flavor with a medium complex bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a good beer.
