Draught (backlog). Murky reddish brown colour with a mediumsized small off-white head. Aroma is rather fruity along with some slight alcohol and mild malty sweetness to it. Flavour is similar with some mild toasted maltiness as well as some earthy and alcohol sweetness kicking in the finish.

Travlr (26188) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - DEC 10, 2012
Draft courtesy of argo0, thank you sir! Hazy amber brown color, beige edge head. Aroma of oddly spiced caramel. Taste is odd spice too, a bit of vanilla. Hmmmm.

mcberko (19172) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 31, 2013
On tap at Apex, pours a hazy copper / amber with almost no head. Aroma of dried fruits (raisins in particular) and toffee – quite sweet. Flavour brings out exceedingly sweet caramel / toffee, dried fruits and no hops at all – lots of residual sugar. Not very refined and quite cloyingly sweet. Drinkable in small portions.

jtclockwork (17343) - , New Jersey, USA - APR 21, 2013
Bottle shared by Podey at Zach and Matt’s tasting. Pours orange gold with off white head. Nose and taste of resin/sap, caramel, toffee and old dried citrus. Medium body.

bhensonb (15832) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 28, 2012
Bottle from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours nearly opaque ruddy copper with a decent creamy beige head. Primary aroma is brown sugar, but there seems to be a fair amount of hop. Full bodied. Flavor is brown sugar with a lot of bitter. Mostly citrus/herb/floral? Heat not an issue til the ale hits the gullet. Warms the tum. Finishes slightly sweet, but with all the bitter it’s really a great drink. Highly recommended.
