COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Xbeeriments bud på en IPA, hvor der er brugt Chinook som bitterhumle og Nelson Sauvin som aroma.

English: It took 2 years before we finally decided to make an IPA. To us an IPA should obviously have great hop character backed up by an interesting malt flavour and should by all means be dry, so that one can actually down a pint and order the next one right away. The hop varieties used are Chinook for bittering and Nelson Sauvin for flavour and aroma. NOTE: From 2010 - 2012 this beer was brewed at Amager Bryghus. From the summer of 2012 it will be brewed at Herslev Bryghus.

Half liter bottle pours hazy deep gold with copper core and near white head. The aroma is sort of peach fuzz, mango, grapefruit and tangelo as well as spicy hops. The taste is similar with an even mix of hop flavor and bitterness from bitter tangelo and grapefruit and slipping into orange wedges, mango and spicy hop flavor. It grows with hop intensity to midway where some spicy hops join in and help take it to the finish. This IPA is full bold flavors and doesn’t mess around. Dig it!

14-DEC-2012, bottle @home, from Ølbutikken. Beautiful golden/orange with lasting high white head. Very hoppy with fruity elements. Fruity and flowery more than grape fruit and pine. Tea-like and certainly dry-hopped. Finish is very bitter though. Malty without turning sweet. Nice medium body and carbonation. Like!

Blonde/dorée/orangée. Voilée. Nez: houblon. Florale. Savon. Agrume. Orange/mandarine. Bonbon fruité. Pêche. Fuzzy peach. Pin/résine. Malt biscuit. Bouche: entrée malté/sucré. Suivi d'une amertume moyenne. Sapin/cèdre. Agrume. Pamplemousse. Fruité. Pêche. Très résineux. Vert. Fruit exotique. Amertume très modéré pour une IPA quoiqu'elle se surpasse au niveau aromatique.

Had after Hop Burn from Mikeller so I was a little disappointed. Has a definite hop flavor and aroma but a bit on the light side surprisingly. Good but nothing special.

On tap. Slightly hazy golden with an off-white head leaving laces. Sweetish peachy hop aroma. Medium-bodied, fairly sweet fruit with solid peach accents leaving a fresh bitterness. Very well crafted. 070510

Medelstor beska. Rund, len, knäckigt maltig, fruktig humle och ganska torr = En IPA helt i min smak.

Gyllenbrun. Söt fruktig aroma. Humlig karaktär. Lite spretig men i övrigt en välgjord IPA.

Private SAQ import. Pours a cloudy golden-amber colour with a great white, creamy-foamy head, great retention and lots of thick soapy lacing and sediments. Smells hoppy at first, with some dark grass, but then the grainy malts appear, adding caramel notes, honey and oranges. The hop is bitter in the taste, but not too overpowering, with hints of oranges. Was not a fan of the hop aromas at first, but this beer is quite drinkable and well-balanced.

Pours a hazy amber with a small white head. Sweet with a light bitterness with some malty aromas of caramel. Some yeast aromas and light alcohol notes. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Bitter finish.
