Bottle from my father in law. This is a curious beer, a cross between a hoppy pale ale and a light Golden ale. It tastes like it’s in the witness protection program, although the hops come out a bit more as it warms up. It’s light and refreshing and just a bit hoppy. Good for a hot day.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. A light orange peel aroma. Medium amber with a fluffy white head. Initial grapefruit bitterness, which develops in to a citrus sweetness. Cheap lemon curd? Light bodied. Limited carbonation. A long but low key finish. Nice but restrained.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Crystal clear golden body with a thin white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of straw, Rich Tea biscuit and underripe melon. Flavour of orange pith and tomato juice. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily mouthfeel. Less hoppy than I was expecting.
