Cask at the Earl of Essex - London. Pours clear, red-gold with a slight, creamy topping. The nose has some old berries and brown bread. Light-medium sweet flavor with some soggy grains and leaves, citrus peel, bread, vague pine. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation; the condition could be better. There’s a modest mineral edge in the finish, along with more ripe berries and grainy brown bread. Fair. Beese (2743) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 3, 2014
Stillage at the Fullerians Beer Festival, Watford on 2 March 2013. Poured a clear amber, with the smallest amount of rocky white head. Aroma of summer fruits, caramel and malt. Some grassy hop in the flavour, with berries and biscuit malt. Finish was raisins, light spice and cereal. DruncanVeasey (8226) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JAN 21, 2014
Cask handpull, Prince of Wales, on a bit of a miniature crawl of Hinckley, 11/01/14. Thick-collared red bronze. Perfumed peach, flowers, tangerine nose. Honey, mandarin and biscuit base with a generous waft of green stewed and soft tropical hop. Really good; approaching US IPA good actually. On handpull in Hinckley. Unbelievable.

Cask gravity at Firkin Ale House Folkestone. Clear amber colour lasting off white head. Hoppy lovepy malty. Had a couple of not good beers before this so anything half decent was going to be a delight. It’s good. Good hop. mr_h (5560) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - SEP 20, 2013
Cask by handpump at Bon Accord, Glasgow - clear amber, good off-white head, biscuit, fruity aroma, good film of lacing, initial malty sweetness, then dominated by a fruity hop bitterness

Cask, gravity dispense at Beer Rebellion. It pour deep amber with a small white head. The nose is wood, leathery, varnish, touch of sweetness and dried fruit. The taste is wood, leather, resinous, varnish, touch of spice, light caramel and decent bitterness with a dry, woody finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty tasty and well-balanced. mR_fr0g (12128) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 2, 2013
Gravity at the the fullerians rugby club bree fest. Sweet raspberry Bubblegum aroma. Amber caramel. Colour no head. Sweet. Caramel berry flavour. Fruit hop. Soft carb. Slick. Vladivostok (485) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JAN 4, 2013
UPDATED: OCT 10, 2014 A bit of a curate’s egg this one. Has a nice citrus aroma and attractive amber tone. Initial flavour is nicely ’malty sweet’ but then it all goes wrong. Finish is just soooo bitter with that curiously sour taste you get when eating grapefruit, but this time in spades. I guess this is a drawback of this particular style and why it is not exactly my favourite. evergreen0199 (3369) - Northwood, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2012
Cask at Land of Liberty Peace and Plenty, Chorleywood, Herts. An amber coloured pour with a medium off white fluffy head on top. Hoppy, fruity, malty aroma. Tastes hoppy, fruity, malty, caramel, slightly sweet, hint of orange and also slightly bitter. Really enjoyed this one. joe19612 (2929) - camberley, Surrey, ENGLAND - NOV 18, 2012
