2015-09-20. Crisp amber body with a nice creamy beige head. 3+ Aroma is mild, malty, lightly cardboardy. Flavour is malty, lightly oxidized, cardboard hints, caramel. Almost clear deep amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly minerally crisp. Unsweet caramel malts, slightly nutty too. Bitterish dried fruits. There is a slight aged taste to this beer yet the palate is fresh and crisp. Light dry finish, modest bitter linger. Slightly left field.

Cask at the Guildford arms. Pours clear amber, nose is toffee, grassy, taste is sweet toffee, thin, grassy.

Cask at the Three Cups, Bedford. Ruby with small off-white head. Caramel, berries, a bit of earth and fallen leaves in the nose. Pours ruby red in colour, single finger off white head, medium carbonation. Aroma of malts, toffee, caramel, but very hoppy. A\ real find if you can get it. If nearby to Aylesbury nmake a detour to the brewery and buy a crate!!
